Halo isn’t the only game to do this, but Halo has went back to the present/future in its next game with Halo Reach (the past) and Halo 4 (the present/future). In Halo reach, the developers have made the game in a time which was before the first Halo game. Technically, Halo reach didn’t include the main character but, the game took place in a time before the main character’s time. In the game, you were to play a series of events leading up to the cause of the first game’s storyline. In the very next Halo game released, Halo 4, you are taken forward 3 years from Halo 3 (the last game in the storyline before Halo reach) and continue on with the timeline. Many games will show flashbacks, or make a game in the past but no other game will do it as precise as the developers of Halo
