In the play, Romeo and Juliet By, Shakespeare, the characters Romeo and Juliet fall in love with each other and get married behind everyone's back, this and multiple other choices lead to their death. At the start of the play, a Capulet and Montague servant get into an argument that is de-escalated by Benvolio but then Tybalt comes in and says, “What, draw and talk of peace? I hate the word as I hate hell, all Montagues, and thee. Have at thee, coward! (page 11 act 1, Shakespeare)” At the start of the play, Shakespeare introduced Tybalt as an aggressive person eager to fight any Montague he sees, no matter who and for what Reason. This proves that throughout the book Tybalt will be looking to cause trouble to anyone he gets the chance to fight, even if it's a random Montague servant, to Romeo. At the Capulet's party, Romeo is roaming around bothering no one but Tybalt sees him and says, “Uncle, this is a Montague, our foe, a villain that is hither come in spite to scorn at our solemnity this night. (page 55 act 1, Shakespeare)” Although Romeo isn't bothering anyone in any way Tybalt is aggressive towards him and wants to fight him as he believes Romeo is there to mock him.
