The Path of Hate and Feud to Death.
When Mercutio dies, Romeo gets filled with anger and kills Tybalt, causing all the horrible events that follow. The story of Romeo and Juliet is about two young teens falling in love with families that despise each other. Eventually, the hate gets out of control, and they die. Throughout the play, there are numerous themes, but the theme that is most prominent is hate. In William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, the theme of hate leading to tragedy is portrayed through Romeo, Tybalt, and Mercutio.
Hate leads to tragedy appears with the character Romeo. In Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet, he explains, “Come bitter conduct, come, unsavory guide. Though desperate pilot, now at once run on the dashing rocks thy seasick, weary bark, Here’s to my love! O true apothecary, drugs are quick thus with a kiss I die” (Shakespeare 5. 3. 117-120). Romeo would have never died if there had been no plan. The only reason they had a plan was because of the hostility between the two families. Tybalt's never-ending anger makes it impossible for peace. "As I hate hell all Montagues and thee have at thee coward" ( Shakespeare 1.1. 70-72). He expresses how much he hates the Montagues and hates peace. Tybalt was to blame for every issue in the play. Tybalt's uncontrolled anger towards the Montagues leads to a sequence of events that end in the death of Romeo and Juliet (Shakespeare 3.1.-5.3.). Tybalt's rage was the cause of everyone's deaths. Tybalt causes all the problems, During the Capulet's party, Tybalt insults Romeo and challenges him to a duel, which eventually leads to Tybalt's death (Shakespeare 3.1. 81-127).
