If six people died in a period of three days for around the same reasons, who would you blame? Would it be Juliet? The lovely daughter of the Capulet family? Or would it be Romeo? The young boy who falls in love to fast and isn’t patient? It is evident that Romeo is primarily responsible for all the deaths because he made Tybalt mad, Tybalt killed Mercurio, Romeo killed Tybalt. After that, he was banished and could not be with Juliet. He found her and killed himself because he thought she was dead. Juliet kills herself, because Romeo is dead. He basically killed her. Four people are dead, plus Paris and Romeo’s mother of sadness. But Tybalt got mad at Romeo for being at his families party. Tybalt wanted to go after Romeo, but his uncle told him not to. Tybalt had lots of anger towards Romeo and ending up fighting him. By accident, Romeo kills Tybalt. Romeo is responsible for Mercurio and Tybalts death. “ Romeo,away,be gone! The citizens are up and Tybalt is slain. Stand not amazed. The Prince will doom thee death if thou art taken. Hence, be gone, away!” ( III, I, 130) . This quote is relevant to Romeo being blamed because it is saying that Romeo has killed Tybalt. It also states that he will be banished when they found out who killed Tybalt. Romeo is to blame for Juliet’s, Paris’s and his mother’s death. He killed himself, Juilet woke up and killed herself because Romeo was not patient to wake a little bit for her to wake up. With Juliet’s death, Paris died. Romeo’s mother also died of shock and sadness. Romeo started a chain reaction of deaths by what he did. “ sovereign, here lies the County Paris slain, and Romeo dead, and Juliet, dead before, warm and new killed”. ( v, III. 195) .
