The incompetence of the world will be the motive to all catastrophic events. History will always repeat itself due to the world’s perpetual process of thinking. Will the prosperity of the Middle Class ever thrive? Will the “American Dream” become true? Since 1928, the Middle Class has been morally defeated.
Baby boomers are the demographic cohort, known as the generation that makes up the substantial portion of the world’s population. Individuals born during the time of 1946 to 1964 has lived in environments where smoking lead to a detrimental impact in their later years. As the third leading cause of death, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is common among the older population. This disease is the leading cause of both morbidity and mortality. Leading to a consensus that older adults (particularly baby boomers) are at a great risk of COPD because they grew up in an era where smoking was fashionable, cigarettes were provided during the wars, and exposure to secondhand smoke was tremendous.

The baby boom era has been an important and significant time that marked the Canadian history. Baby boomers born during post-World War 2 between the years 1946 and 1964 are people that are named such due to the exceeding number of births. There have not only been population changes but the economic conditions and long-term effects have taken place because of this. Throughout years of seeing the effect of baby boomers, we can see it has significantly impacted the Canadian society. It has impacted and is continuing to affect the Canadian society by affecting the economy, the means of long-term effect and the drastic changes in the population count.
Between 2010 and 2050, the United States population ages 65 and older will nearly double, the population ages 80 and older will nearly triple, and the number of nonagenarians and centenarians—people in their 90s and 100s—will quadruple. (KFF, 2015) Trustees of Medicaid are forecasting that in 2024, Medicaid will start running out of funding. Although there is little evidence in the trustee’s projections it is still something that needs to be looked as more and more people are getting older and are needing benefits vs a number of people putting in. Every day there are 10,000 people turning 65 or older.
Culturally, family is the base of my Hispanic heritage. As a child my mother taught me that family is the most important aspect of life. I remember my abuelita and uncle visiting every Thanksgiving and telling stories about their youth, from my uncle getting lost in Yosemite National Park to my abuelita regularly being dragged by the ear to Mother Superior’s office. When she came to visit, my abuelita would always share the family albums that she had stuffed in her suitcase. With every picture there was both a story and a lesson.
Though the average life expectancies have continued to increase since the creation of the baby boom generation, those who live longer lives will most likely be burdened with the constantly increasing cost of healthcare in the United States. More money required to be paid to healthcare for the betterment of older life means less money that can be dedicated to lifestyle choices like foods, living arrangements, etc.. Children of post war America are the most effective demographic gathering ever. Organizations flourishes or comes up short in light of their capacity to keep pace with the preferences and aversions of this financial powerhouse known as the people born after WW2. At 76 million in number, boomers have the impact to control the commercial center and ensure they keep a spot set only for them as the biggest era. Because of its substantial size, the Baby Boom era has significantly affected society, business, and the economy. The effect of the era has been felt in every aspect of buyer spending, from expanded offers of child items when they were youthful; to rising interest for houses as they set up their own particular family units; to development in retirement funds vehicles as they get ready for their senior years.
College is one of the most significant times in a person’s life. Every year high school kids will visit many different colleges so that they can be confident in their college decision. Some kids will follow in their parent’s foot steps and base their decision on where their mom or dad went, though, not all kids are fortunate to have help from their parents. Many kids nowadays may be the first in their family to take on higher education. Rosie Evans ' synthesis essay Boomerang Kids: What Are the Causes of Generation Y 's Growing Pains well, first, I think the opening paragraph was a bit wordy it was like she was trying too hard in my opinion, with out-of-the-way I guess I will get to what I am needing to be writing about. It was a smart idea to give examples from her own life and that of her sisters. Her experiences provided relevant examples that people could relate to. I liked the way she explained the biological, economic, and sociological reasons for millennial and generation Y kids coming home. Her examples were well documented and had a firm backing for all three sides of the argument she gave.
