Psalms was a song or a hymn. The collection of these songs and hymns are made up of prayer, poems, and hymns. The evidence that suggests the book of Psalms is a compilation of songs is due to the different forms of writing styles. For example, this author used the same parallels, antithetic parallels, synthetic similarities, and exemplary poetry. Each of these represented a diverse style of writing. The similar parallels style of writing consisted of rhyming thoughts. The antithetic parallels style of writing is composed of different ideas. Then the synthetic sides were created using a little by little development. Lastly, within this book the author used a form of poetry that is called exemplary poetry, which is poetry that written as a catchphrase. The Protestant Old Testament does not include the books of the Apocrypha because the term Apocrypha means the Hidden or secret objective, however, later it was noted that this portion of the Bible is not viewed as inspiring and hence excluded the sacred canon. It was based on problems/solutions and not considered poetry. The Protestant only consist of 39 books within the Old Testament. Most of the Protestant portion of the Bible is made up of hidden sections, which is located in the back part of the Bible. These books are often referred to as Apocrypha. These individuals have a friendly bond with their Christian group. They have limited interest in recruiting other members. These usually are people who are well educated and contribute to the middle class of society. For example, a clergyman of a church similar to a priest, deacon and other ordain people within a religious service. Their routine to worship is done on a weekly basis.
