Curly has very poor eating habits. He has eaten the exact same thing all five days and if we furthered this assignment he would still probably eat the same foods. With this information we know he is not getting a variety of nutrients he needs to stay healthy. Eating a variety of foods is important to get different foods and colors in your daily diet for the body to develop right. Not every food contains all the vitamins and nutrients that one needs, so Curly needs to eat different healthy foods will get those necessary vitamins in his body. Curly eats a lot of empty calorie foods and beverages, also he consumes quite a bit of simple carbs. Simple carbs are carbs that don’t have healthy impact to the body and these nutrients burn fast with giving little energy. He will have increased chances of getting heart diseases, type two diabetes, and have greater risks of being obese. Also, eating unhealthy can induce the percentages of having heart attacks or strokes with the grease and unhealthy foods he consumes. Heart attacks are caused when the arteries to the heart get filled with plaque caused by unhealthy and fatty foods. The way Curly is eating he will have a very large chance of having a heart attack and having plaque in his arteries. Ways that Curly can change his risks of having these unfortunate events are making sure he has different variety of nutrients and vitamins in every meal. Also, to drink water often throughout the day and to eat his fruits and veggies because those have water in them too. Lastly, to dim it down on how much he eats because the more food he is taking in the more calories are in his body that are unneeded.
