The third recording of “Come All Ye Songsters of the Sky”, performed by Accademia Bizantina takes style choices used by the London Classical Players even further, performing at an extremely slow tempo. This piece in particular, in fact, is the slowest tempo out of all of the recordings. The singer, a tenor named Andrew Carwood, sings through his notes with a very legato style, unlike what is notated in the original score. He also chooses to add very little ornamentation of his own; if any, he chooses to add a suspension or anticipation at cadence points and ends of phrases.
