The show Ancient Aliens does not adequately prove that aliens influenced man. “Just because you cannot figure out how ancient civilization built stuff does not mean they got help from aliens” (Tyson).Ancient Aliens claims to have scholarly experts explaining their reasoning behind the great Ancient Astronaut theory, in which the show is primarily based on one book “The Chariot of the Gods”, written by Erich Von Daniken. Whom appears on the show only to restate evidence from his book. The researchers use faulty logic to claim the evidence is true only because they say it is true. Tsoukalos is well known from the TV show Ancient Aliens. His enthusiasm says that what he is stating is supposed to be true. He traveled the world to research and investigate possible evidence of extraterrestrial contact with humans. Giorgio developed his passion for ancient Astronaut Theory in Switzerland, where he met and studied under “Chariots of the Gods”, author Erich Von Daniken. ( ) Giorgio’s research does not give support to the issue of considering everything he proclaims is based on Daniken’s book. He simply repeats what is being said and uses the evidence as his own. Author of “Chariots of the God”, Erich Von Daniken spent forty- five years pursuing the Ancient Astronaut theory, which proclaims that mankind was visited and influenced by extraterrestrial beings. Daniken has written fifty-five books and e-media on the topic. He spent his youth at College St. Michel in Fiboug studying ancient Holy Writing. ( ) His early studies do not influence this research in the ancient Astronaut Theory. Seems as if he has simply picked up a hobby, wrote about it, and no other so called scientist has used his information to support Daiken’s word. Which means there is no new evidence of this supposed theory, but recirculating claims. Philip Coppen appears through the episodes to support the claim as a scientist. Coppen is not a scientist. Ancient Aliens statistical evidence does not hold to be true to past studies on their topics. They exaggerate the weight of an object or the size to be true and prove how ancient civilization who have needed help from extraterrestrial beings so achieve such modern day marvels. Ancient Aliens claim that the stones Puma Punku weigh eight hundred tons ( ). If that was the case, it would be nearly impossible anyone to move the stone, given that the only way for them to be moved would be by levitation. Scientist has measured the stone to be six hundred and seventy tons ( ). That nearly one hundred and thirty ton difference between the two measurements. Given that Ancient Aliens has lied about their claims weakens their argument. Any amount of research on the stones at Puma Punku will show how Ancient Aliens claims are far from the truth. They also claim that the stones at Baalbek weighed far more than they actually do. When video evidence they do not reveal the whole site. Instead they do not show the tools that were used to chisel and polish the stones. They do not show the unfinished work that scientist has studied and proves how the ancient people accomplished such spectacular
