Inbetween 1954 and 1956 they performed and recorded under a variety of names but eventually they settled on the name The Four Seasons. From 1956 up until 1958 the group had stayed together, performing in lounges and clubs under the name The Four Lovers along with recording on various record labels with names: Frankie Valley and the Travelers, Frankie Valley, the Village Voices. In 1959 the group started working with the songwriter/producer Bob Crewe, where they primarily did session work. Later that year the Four Lovers were performing in Baltimore on the same stage as the Royal Teens, The Royal Teens were currently riding on their success of “Short Shorts”. That song which was co-written by the then 15-year-old Bob Gaudio, who was also the Royal Teen’s keyboardist.

Gary Puckett and the Union Gap Another American rock group which came on the scene in the late 60s. This band was set apart from other bands due to their music. They had songs which had a combination of great singing and music and touched the heart in many different ways. Their songs are still popular to this day and can be heard over the radio. From the very beginning they were known as The Union Gap featuring Garry Puckett and later on became Gary Puckett & the Union Gap.

Sharon Draper’s works, Forged by Fire and Out of My Mind, themes connect to her life because she has known people who have been abused, who have been disabled, and she can can connect and understand the people who have had struggles in their life. Sharon Draper is an American author, poet, public speaker, and master educator. She was previously a teacher at Cincinnati Public Schools from 1970 to 1997.
The last musician that was introduced in the video was Miles Davis. Miles Davis not only inspired the musicians that he worked with, but also a whole generation of people. I believe that Miles’ leadership style was that of Burns’s Transformational Leadership Model. He had the charisma that produces strong emotions in people, and also motivated his band members. All three of the musicians used different leadership styles, but their outcomes were the same.

The Drawing of The Three Could you imagine a world in the future where most of the Earth is a barren wasteland, the English language has changed, where there’s little to no technology, and people have gone back to the ways of an old western cowboy like town? Well that’s exactly what the world Stephen King had created for The Dark Tower series. The main protagonist of every book is Roland Deschain. Roland is the only gunslinger left alive and it is his duty, as a gunslinger, to search for the Tower. In the book The Drawing of The Three, the second book of The Dark Tower series, Roland has a deck of magic cards that shuffle and show him who will be accompanying him along his journey.
A sense of elitism has arisen within musical genes, stemming from rock, punk, folk, etc. believing that they are valid and true forms of music, but that due to the way disco is produced, it fails to be a genre. However, disco is much more than a genre- it is a whole unique culture that supports many marginalized identities. As Dyer states, ‘disco is also kinds of dancing, club, fashion, film, etc. – in a word, a certain sensibility’ (Dyer 20).
