I have encountered a number of health issues, which have hindered my abilities to partake in many activities. As a naturally driven person, it was very difficult to accept the fact that, amongst other things, my schooling was being put at a standstill. I have blamed myself for the past few months, despite what everyone has told me: “it's not your fault,” “you couldn't control it,” “it's okay,” etc. I often question the actuality of what has developed over this past year, and I wonder “whether I could have altered the outcome?” However, as challenging as my life has been, I have come to accept that things do not always go as planned, and that you must always persevere.

Oddly enough, that same person walked through my door about thirty minutes later, or at least I thought it was him. I yelled at him. Full on screamed at him for giving me a medicine that nearly killed me. He looked flustered, but then recovered moments later. “What are you talking about?”
Anesthesiologist is a medical doctor that treats the patient within the process of a surgical procedure, by monitoring their complaints and making sure comfort is the number one priority. Anesthesiologists report to their patients about the process they are undergoing and what to expect. They monitor vital signs throughout the procedure and make the appropriate adjustments if needed. They also provide medical care to patients in a wide variety of situations and help relieve pain and keep patients safe. A consultant anesthesiologist which has spent at least nine years after graduation is considered a fully qualified doctor.
I recently underwent emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix in the hospital where I’m currently employed, receiving anesthesia from providers I had shadowed just a few weeks prior. Although I wouldn’t say I recommend the experience, being the patient gave me a new perspective, and it was eye-opening to have insight into both sides of the operating room and my entire hospitalization. Even though the anesthesia team knew my medical background, they were still comforting and professional in describing the anesthesia plan. Encountering the bedside manners of my healthcare team emphasized the importance of being calm and knowledgeable for patients and their families, regardless of health literacy level. Caring for others, often in high-stress situations, is what I enjoy about being an ICU nurse.
The project manager was responsible for collecting and organizing data, utilizing current evidence-based practice methods, motivating team members involved in the project, keeping the entire project on track, educating patients on deep breathing, and improvising the project if necessary. Each team member was involved in the direct teaching to their patients, documentation of data, assist with team meetings as necessary, motivate other registered nurses in the unit to perform deep breathing exercises with their patients, and provide needed recommendations. Each team member also contributed thoughts regarding the best way to perform deep breathing exercises and added to the official handout. The anesthesiologist was responsible for being a resource
After high school I am hoping to attend Indiana University to major in Human Biology in pursuit of one day becoming a physician’s assistant. During my high school years I have put fourth much effort to succeed to the best of my ability. I have taken many courses throughout the years that have pushed me and allowed me to start shaping the career path that I plan to take. During the summer before my junior year I found out that my parents were getting a divorce. When I found out, the only thing I could think about was how my life was never going to be the same.
Learning step by step in school the ways that were going to take, to pass this course, as an MA was so not the feelings, I have it before I got registered to ACC. Still remember the quote was in front of our door back in High School that motivates me with this, is that “YOUR MOUNTAIN IS WAITING FOR YOU”. Keep on moving and strive for the best, not only it’s a best for me, but it’s for the good in my family. Medical Assistant is a very important role in life, helping people who are in needs and especially to save peoples life. Back home in American Samoa they don’t even take MA certification in the hospital, they just have that family business thing, that if you have any family who work there, then automatically you’re going to get the job.
A suitable career for my goals would be one that is rewarding. I would want my career to help people and be beneficial to the world. I would also like a career that is hands on and exciting. A CRNA career interests me because every day is different and this job is helping save lives and get patients through surgery comfortably and safely.

What an Anesthesiologist Is An anesthesiologist is, as defined by Mosby’s Dictionary of Medicine, is “a physician who completes an accredited residency program in anesthesiology. Anesthesiologists may administer anesthesia directly or as part of an anesthesia team consisting of nurse anesthetists or anesthesiologist's assistants.” These physicians, however, have not been around since the beginning of surgery. Surgery back then was painful for the patient and more stressful for the doctor because with the patient aware the doctor had to be extra careful of every single move; because of the discomfort caused by a patient and stress that built by operators, anesthesiologists emerged and became a vital necessity in the medical field. If they had not existed, surgery would still be primitive and excruciating.
By the time junior year came around I knew I wanted to be a Neonatologist, which ironically like housewifery is a woman dominated field. There was a calm before the storm, the day 's atmosphere was very uplifting, the sun was shining brightly while the wind counteracted with a March breeze. I came home from a long day of school and dove straight to bed for my daily ritual of an after school nap. I somehow sensed something was off, call it a sixth sense or a touch from God, but my brain told me something was wrong. My sister broke the news to me, she awoke me with the abrupt strength of a football player “Goodness, wake up Ashley died, wake up.”
I began my undergraduate education at Colorado State University in 2004. I declared my major as Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. At this point in my life, I had no clue what I wanted to do for my career and thought this would be the best option and give me the most diversity of career options. Going into my sophomore year, I began a job in the emergency department at the hospital located in the college town. During my first day, I got to see a variety of emergent and non-emergent medical procedures.
The first day I stepped onto the floor, I felt overwhelmed and I questioned myself if I was meant for this line of work. I was assigned 14 patients. Soon after interacting with all my patients, my perspective and doubts changed. After leaving for college; I started my college days as a full time pre-nursing student. I continued to work as a CNA and
My future career objective is to become an Anesthesiologist. Anesthesiologist play an important role in patients which are undergoing surgery or any other medical procedure.
