The book, Animal Behavior for Shelter Veterinarians and Staff, by Emily Weiss et al., focuses on the animals behavior toward staff members, and the staff members behavior toward those animals, and the problems that both pets and staff members encounter. In the book, the authors assert that, with the rising in numbers of homeless pet, it is not easy for staff members to keep their eyes on all the pets in the shelter. Since those pets have their own problems, and also staff members themselves too; not everyone has time and knowledge to be able to take good care of those animals. The job at the shelter is not only to clean them, feed them, and finding new homes them, but to also cure them, both their physical and psychological or emotional. The
