The first quote is the last thing Anne Frank wrote in her diary, right before the Nazis took her. Otto Frank's quote is his reaction to Anne's writing. Who is right, Anne or Mr. Frank? This Essay will prove that Anne is right. First and foremost, Miep will prove how people are and can be good at heart. Miep risked her life many times for the people in the annex. She could’ve been sent to a concentration camp for six months, or even killed. In addition, Miep was willing to give up anything for the people in the annex. In some cases, she would use monthly rations just to provide for the Franks. Finally, Miep kept Anne’s diary for years in hopes of giving it back to her. She even resisted letting Mr. Frank read it because she was so loyal to her word. In all, Miep was an amazing person with a good heart. Secondly, Mrs. Frank will show how amazing people can be. At the beginning of the play, Anne and Mrs. Frank got into many arguments. Sometimes even calling her a wild child. But as time went on Mrs. Frank began to care less about Anne's actions and more about Anne's reaction towards her. When Peter and Anne first met, they didn’t get along with each other. Peter saw Anne as an annoying and immature child. However, as they spent more time together, Peter began to like Anne. They didn’t talk very often, but they tolerated each other. This tolerance became a beautiful friendship (maybe even more). Peter and Anne were always hanging out with each other and talking.
