Anne Frank who was a young German-born Jewish girl was renowned for her diary which was written during World War II - the time she had to hide in the secret annex in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Anne Frank was born Annelies Marie Frank on June 12, 1929 in Frankfurt, German with Edith Frank as her mom; and Otto Frank who used to be a German officer during the World War I, but later became a businessman in Amsterdam, Netherland as her dad. She also had a three-year older sister named Margot. Even though she was born in a typical upper middle-class family, and had a great time living with them in a small house in German; those few happy years had soon ended.
It all started when Adolf Hitler took over as a Chancellor of German; and established the first anti-Jewish laws in 1933. As the result of this law, the Franks thereafter had to immigrate to Amsterdam, Netherlands later that year. At first the Franks somehow feel safe and free again since

The diary played a very significant role in Anne’s life, especially during the hiding period, since it helped letting out all the feelings which including fear, and anxiety. “The nicest part is being able to write down all my thoughts and feelings, otherwise I‘d absolutely suffocate.” Anne Frank said. “Not being able to go outside upsets me more than I can say, and I’m terrified our hiding place will be discovered and that we’ll be shot.” Did not only use it just as a normal diary which covered all of her experiences and thoughts while hiding inside the little tiny Secret Annex; Anne Frank also wrote short stories and kept all of her favorite quotes in her “best friend”.
