The following research will start off with an investigation on the previous life of Ansel Adams. His Childhood, his midlife and the starting of his Career. It will later discuss all his work, and his most important Zone system.
The research will therefore be primarily investigating the history and the past life but the secondary investigation will be all about his work, his invention and him being an Environmental Activist and his road to success in the career of photography, black and white; landscape.
HISTORY
Early Years
Ansel Adams, born in San Francisco on 20th February, 1902, an only child to his parents named Charles Hitchcock Adams and Olive Bray Adams. Studied at both, public and private schools.
At the age of 4 years he broke his nose, due to an earthquake in San Francisco, California, which never got constructed back properly and remain crooked his whole life however it became his signature later on, even with his high intelligence in education, because of his nose he was always treated indifferently among other students of his school, therefore due to which he faced a lot of difficulty during his academic years, which lead him into being dyslexic after he stopped showing interest in students resulting in poor grades. He was homeschooled afterwards so that he could achieve a diploma, his social awkwardness and inability to interact will people lead him into being much closer to the nature. Midlife

However in his midyears his father took him to Yosemite Valley Park in 1969, where he took his first photographs as he fell in love with the nature and developed a sense of “Visual Artsy”, later reflected in his photographs. Most of all of his photographs were taken in the Yosemite Valley, where he developed and polished his skills.
Beginning of
