France was also the birthplace of many different ideologies from world renowned philosophers like Rene Descartes whose ideas influence the modern world even today! France is known for its beautiful architecture, incredible food, but most notably its social classes. These social classes consisted of the First, Second, and Third estates. These revolutionary ideas would absolutely have been accelerated due to the influence of the American Revolution upon the French soldiers. Due to the French assisting in the American revolution, French soldiers were exposed to the revolutionary ideas of the Americans alongside participating in a revolution before their own. It is obvious that these revolutionary ideas spread to the French due to the obvious American revolutionary ideas in the French “Declaration of Rights of Man and Citizen” (Doc 8). The ideas presented in the “Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen” echo those used in the American “Declaration of Independence.” In addition, French soldiers must have been exposed to these ideas from the close proximity to the American Revolution, as shown in Document 4. Considering the impact that French soldiers had on the revolution, the spread of these ideas would have been crucial to the success of the revolution.
