Yes, I write this letter as an appeal for my admissions decision for the Fall of 2016, but more so than that, I feel the need to give a dream school of mine at least one more shot. Regardless of the consequent decision, which I fully realize is statistically to be against my desired response, I must write this letter.
Personally, I hold Berkeley in the highest regards as far as colleges go; having been an Oakland resident, I have come to cherish the diverse atmosphere and thirst for knowledge in Berkeley and the surrounding area entropy.
I realize that, like thousands of the other students who may be bewildered at an admission decision, I am simply used to trying my best and yielding the fruits of my labor. Life is full of ups and downs, successes and failures, I have had my fair share of failures in life, but I would always get up and try again, and again until I succeed, I never give up. U.C Berkeley has been my dream since my freshman year of high school, this would be my third time applying to Berkeley, although I have been accepted to a hand full of other great universities, I still prefer Berkeley as my first and only choice.

I assure you that if I’m admitted I will be a significant active member of the Haas community.
