An extremely important transition from middle school to college is the four years of high school. While it is essential to be academically successful, it is an absolute necessity to become a compassionate human being. Keeping these thoughts in mind, I began my research to find what will be the best high school for me.
I read the mission statement from Archbishop Mitty’s website, attended a few open houses during my 7th and 8th grades, and shadowed an Archbishop Mitty student in 8th grade. It was during my many visits to this school that I realized that my vision and future dreams match with the mission of Archbishop Mitty. The positive environment encouraging students to strive for excellence with the help of amazing teachers at Mitty is what I am looking for. I am looking forward to my life at Archbishop Mitty and am extremely excited to be able to immerse myself in an elite education, while honing my skills in various co-curricular activities and helping the community. I have always believed in hard work and dedication, qualities which lay the foundation for success. This has reflected in my grades and achievements in elementary and middle school. Therefore, transitioning into a solid academic curriculum that Mitty offers will be beneficial to my education.
