Hello! I am a newbie! My name is Naomi Lee, and I currently attend Crestwood School. I am very grateful for the many volunteering opportunities that are provided at my school. I always look forward to volunteering as it helps bring me closer to my school community! At my school, I joined leadership to become closer to my community; setting up school dances, cross-grade events, fundraisers, and more; all run by leadership members! Through leadership, I was able to experience many things! One experience that I had during leadership was the opportunity to run a cross-grade event! One reason why I want to attend Archbishop Macdonald is because it has many good programs that I am interested in. Not only that, I truly enjoyed talking with the teachers at the open house and I believe that the teachers at Archbishop Macdonald are amazing people and will bring new perspectives into my life. However, I don’t want to go to Archbishop Macdonald just because of the academics. For me, I truly believe that in a good environment and community, people can grow and become better people. Quite frankly, I want to be a part of the Archbishop Macdonald community. When I went to the Archbishop Macdonald open house, the community and environment that I saw stuck out to me, I wanted to be a part of that community. The students and teachers were supportive and engaging. In addition, I felt that they all had transparent and honest communication. Not only that, I want to go to Archbishop Macdonald so I can grow alongside Christ. I know currently my relationship with God isn’t as strong as it used to be, however, I want to continue to grow alongside Christ.
