The democratic style of leadership involves all members in an organisation participating in the decision making process. Authority is delegated from the democratic leader to employees in the business. Although all employees within the organisation have a say in both the decision making process and the idea generation, the main authoritive figure/manager will still be there to offer guidance and control. The democratic leader would simply put forward the problem in front of other members of the organisation with the hops that they will all negotiate a solution together.
There are many benefits to a democratic style of leadership:
