I have always wanted to work at a camp because I thought it would be fun. After doing some research I chose Falls Creek because I believe in its mission. In my years of attendance, I have been able to witness the life change that happens at this camp. I also enjoy serving others. Especially when it is for a larger cause in which I believe. Being a part of an organization that works to serve Christ in this way is a point of convergence. Meaning, the experiences that have brought me to this point in my life have prepared me for a position like this endeavor in addition, there are experiences I would have at Falls Creek that would better enhance preexisting skills for what I want to do in the future. Having prior experience in large event organization, I could handle the stress and bustle of substantial sized events. Consequently, when tasks need to be handle I take initiative to take care of what has come up. Furthermore, I am also well prepared to for programing staff because of my missions background. I have experience in various mission trip settings and places. Because of this, I have developed the skill to communicate with others about my experiences. I still enjoy hearing others stories, and watching what God has done through their obedience to go. Talking about missions and encouraging others to pray about going is something I treasure. Joining others in prayer is an awesome experience as it is a way you can support an individual from before they leave to long after they are home. I certainly trust that I am well qualified for this position and would do well serving in this realm. Courtesy staff requires someone who is willing to enforce rules and policy. I am respectful toward others, but also willing to be straight forward and honest with them.
