Bananas are the world’s most traded crop in the world, bananas are well known because of how they’re very popular and cheap they're in food markets and grocery stores. Many Banana industries are corrupt in many ways but there are ways to fix them. And the main question is, are bananas really worth the cost? Are bananas even worth the cost for the workers who suffer through these corrupt ways? Are they worth the cost for the environment? Are they even worth it economically? The Rainforest Alliance makes sure that the people who work for the banana industries are wearing protective gear. They also make sure that they have many washing stations for the workers to wipe off all the chemicals that might be on them. And to make sure that they provide the workers with safety training to keep pesticides away. When these rules are being used. The workers and farmers are protected from dangerous chemicals and pesticides. Now the workers and farmers will not be harmed when working out in the fields. Bananas are worth the costs economically, the Fairtrade rules state the workers must be paid minimum wage or above. Bananas are also worth the cost if the Rainforest Alliance is being used.
