Freedom is valid unless it affects other people’s freedom. There is no doubt that the Pro-Legalization Argument will favor, facilitate, and widen the availability of drugs in a nation. The drug dealers and addicts have been known to be notorious in criminal activities as they want to dominate the job market. Legalizing drugs will give people an avenue to make the situation even worse. Despite the fact that every citizen has the right to make rational decisions on what to do with their lives, their activities should not impinge on the lives and rights of other citizens. The genuine drugs will not be sold as the counterfeit will reduce the price of their produce hence dominating the market. Despite the fact that some drugs are meant to facilitate health aid to people most of these drugs may have long and short term effect to people. For instance, some drugs may affect the normal functioning of some body parts, the can escalate the levels of violence due to hallucinations, others lead to internal damages of some body organs mostly the liver and the brain.
