One of the most commonly used drugs by teens is Marijuana. It is basically a mixture of dried leaves, stems seeds and flowers that is used to smoke, although it is also used in baked goods and other foods. According to this research done abroad, it was found that many parents think that marijuana use is relatively harmless and is a very normal activity during teenage. Many parents theselves agree to the fact that they too have done the same when they were younger. But today marijuana strands have a very high amount of THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol), which is the active ingredient present in the drug as compared to those that were available during the 1970’s.
