Perhaps the common merchant or the lady of leisure would think profitable but there are some that think otherwise. Some that resonate the sound of justice. Slavery is a peculiar thing, at the expense of other people 's joy we bring ourselves joy. Isn 't that ironic? The very thing we strive to defeat is right under our noses yet we are too blind to see it. If only we opened our eyes to the situation at hand nobody will get hurt, no more pain and no more sadness. These slaves, these slaves are men, women and children just like you and your families. Would you want them to be handcuffed? Whipped? Beaten? Then why are treating these innocent people as if they were cattle? We move them along as if they were sheep yet we are not the shepherds, we are the wolves. Fortunately mr John Wesley is another kind and gentle human being that braved the hells of Africa 's slave system and saw another option for trade between the transatlantic slave trade.
