No matter where people go, there are always a fast food restaurant or vending machines filled with unhealthy products everywhere. A Yale University psychology professor states, “While you’re pumping gas you punch in Fritos, the Twinkies and the Coke, and somebody brings it to your car. So the physical activity required to go in and get is eliminated.” (Murray). Fast food industries make it difficult to prevent obesity from local communities, since fast food restaurants are placed at every corner.

The eating habit of our ancestors would be completely unrecognizable to many of us nowadays. We graze our way through the day, eating on crisps or chocolate and drinking sodas to keep us going. Children should be allowed to read specific books if given permission. The banning of books also limits the reality of certain individuals.
I am a VISA high school student and I think candy and soda should not be banned from schools because I believe students can mature and understand how unhealthy it is to be obese. In my school having candy or anything sweet is not banned. Our school gives us the freedom to buy things from a vending machine that has some healthier alternatives to chips which are baked chips and it has some granola bars. It does have some sweets like cookies and the sugary rice crispy bars. This is good because the school food isn’t that unhealthy and if you don’t want it, you have healthier options in the vending machines.
On the issue of banning books, it seems that the parents know the right things and others do not. In reality every book read in a high school, a parent is always going to state why the child should not read such and such a book. It 's simply opinionated. I believe that if a book has some good moral or is taught in a manner that projects good morality then it should be allowed to be part of the school 's
Should School Lunches Change For a long time now people have been arguing over whether or not to change up the restrictions to the lunches served in schools across America. Many different arguments have come up in recent years. School officials should not change up the school lunches because some people need more food than others, they should not be able to tell them what they can and can't eat, and finally because it will take lots of time and money to make the switch. The first reason schools should not put a limit on school lunches because some students need more food than others.
With the marketing rate for good tasting foods, theirs no way that schools can’t make more money. child obesity is talked about all the time, but has anyone stopped to think that maybe obese students are happy like that with good tasting junk food? people probably haven 't, so before the people start making remarks and bad comments on these situations like that they need to stop and think, are obese students happy? If students are happy the way they are why try changing that? That is not what is going to hurt

Junk food was provided in school, before the health program came into place, banning it from schools around the country. It was proudly served and allowed in school, and also sold for many school fundraisers. Although some people might say that junk food can be unhealthy, schools should allow, or serve, some junk food because it will make the kids want to eat school lunches more, it will bring in more money to the school, and it will give the students the calories that they need.
Why Students Shouldn’t Have Homework There are around 365 days in a year, and in a school year, there are around 180 days. From the beginning of the school year to the end, the most common thing that students least like, is homework. Coming home after a long day of school, then having responsibilities to do at home, not to mention some students have after school activities which take up around 2 hours if not more. Homework for students is a barrier that makes it difficult for them to have any kind of social life, or spend time with their family. There are many reasons why students shouldn’t have homework, during this essay people will learn why having homework isn’t helping the student, except making things more difficult for them.
Cafeteria food in schools is made to be healthy for students, but is it really healthy for students if they think it is foul and do not want to eat it? Should schools change the healthy foods to foods that students would actually want to eat? School food’s job is to be healthy and tasty to get the students through their day, but sadly school lunches tend to miss the mark on both accounts. Public schools rely on money from the government to supply food to their students, but due to several cutbacks the thing served in the cafeteria is hardly food at all. We all know the stereotypical school food mystery meat Monday or a slab of grey mush and sadly that is not too far from what it is in reality.
