Some people would use the word reckless and arrogant to describe Chris McCandless. This is what I think of Chris McCandless, that he was courageous and adventurous. Why some people would think that Chris McCandless was reckless and arrogant is because they look at him as if he just ran into the wild not knowing anything. This is just not a fair way to judge him. He was actually very intelligent he graduated at the top of his class at Emory university. The way I look at him is that he was courageous and adventurous to just go out and follow his dream. This is why I think Chris McCandless is courageous. When Chris burned what money he had left I thought it was courageous because he was trying to get around without money and how hard it would be. By Chris burning his money and trying to brave the world without money show´s that he´s courageous because do you know how hard it is to get around without money? Chris McCandless might be courageous but he is also Adventurous. This is why I think Chris McCandless is Adventurous. Some reasons people will disagree with my argument is because they look at Chris McCandless as if he just ran into the Alaskan bush without preparation and that he was reckless for burning his money and he was just really arrogant. I can understand why some people would call Chris McCandless reckless for burning his money but he was just trying to live his life without societies evil and he did get around pretty well without it. Then some people would call him arrogant I can also understand that but even tho he was a bit arrogant he still did know somethings and he also did graduate from the top of his class at Emory university and when he was on the road he would ask hunters and outdoorsmen techniques about living off the wild.
