Education in the fine arts is a very important part of the development of each human being. A fine arts education, which can include music, drawing, sculpture, drama, or painting, has been a necessary part of a well-rounded education for many years. However, many schools, in this country and others, are cutting back and/or completely eliminating much of the fine arts programs due to tight budget restrictions. This is not only bad news for the teachers of the fine arts, it is bad news for the students being affected as well.
