If you are one of the nutcases who are basically asking for a death wish, read this carefully and you will not want to go to the red planet. Going to space in general is very risky. The first men to walk on the moon went through years of training. So how do you expect to go to Mars, survive and come back in one piece? I have no idea but going to Mars is one of the most idiotic ideas I ever heard.
Let us assume you make it to Mars… Just like humans, everything will wear out. Your equipment and spacesuits will break down someday (or minute). Mars is an extreme environment and you may not be able to maintain homeostasis. Temperatures can get as cold as -195 degrees and the “water” scientists found on Mars may not be water! Eventually, everyone will die and your equipment is wrecked, you have nowhere to go and nothing to do.

Seven months to mars is enough time for engines to collapse. Again if you do end up at Mars, you will want to explore and walking won’t do the job. We need rovers and those can break as well. One of the rovers has been on Mars for only 9 years since 2004. Cold weathers, cosmic radiation, and maybe aliens can wreck your ways of survival. You will live in a pod small pod as big as a jail cell. If you don’t die of natural causes, you might die of boredom! You can consider mom’s homemade cooking and TV extinct. The experience of eating real food, going to a football game, or even just breathing regularly rather than using an oxygen tank. Space food is dried and must be cooked with water. Water will run out and you will be eating the specialty: red dust soup with cosmic radiation croutons! I, personally would go to Mars but not if I would lose those opportunities. Stay here on Earth! It’s more jolly than miles of red
