There is much controversy between people with mental illnesses committing shootings. Most of America is aware that this is a very touchy subject. Lots of people could be offended with the other sides beliefs or responses. Shootings have been around awhile wether they have been mass shootings or school shootings. They have all resulted in terrible deaths. The first recorded mass shooting happened back on Labor Day in 1949. It was committed by a man named Howard Unrah. This mass shooting became know as his “Walk of Death.” Unrah killed a total of 13 people from a window of his apartment.
