It’s finally time to stop keeping orcas in captivity because lastly, captive orcas suffer from a wide range of health problems, that not seen among wild orcas. The orcas shallow pools give them ‘vulnerable to higher-than-normal levels of ultraviolet radiation’ from the sun, which is a major risk risk factor for most skin cancers, which breaks down and wrecks their immune systems. In other words, there really isn't anything that the workers or owners at parks can do for the orcas since no matter what, where ever in captivity, the orcas will still be exposed to skin cancer, as a result of the radiation.Collapse of the orcas shark-like dorsal fin is another issue that orcas in captivity are prone to as well. The orcas also spend more time exposed to air than they would in the wild, and often moving slowly due to their insanely small and prohibited size of their captive habitats.
