The American Journey is, to US citizens, just a word, but to those who aren’t it’s much more. To those not born in the United States of America the American Journey is an opportunity because in the US all citizens have basic rights that most countries don’t have. Although, the Journey is just an opportunity it doesn’t guarantee a job or a house, but to the impoverished citizens of foreign countries just knowing that they have a chance is enough.
Often times women will garden or quilt to sell items in the local market. For the Amish, they believe that working outside the community could be detrimental to them as it could expose them too much to the world (Katz). The Amish people are not constrained to one location, in fact they are spread throughout many different states in the United States of America as well as Canada. The Amish can be found in at least 28 different states ranging from Maine to Montana.
Hail to the Redskins! To ‘hail’ someone is to greet them or to say something good about them. It is also a way to tell people of your homeland.(Merrian-Webster) If we are saying something good about our Redskins or are acknowledging that our homeland includes the Native American culture, why is everyone so uptight about the term ‘Redskin’?

In this time, there were several different kinds of thinking going on, and it depended on what the person believed in. Then there were six key ideas that came to interrupt the American Enlightenment.
The white settlements expanded west, they threatened to take over Cherokee land in the southern U.S. The historical question is trying to tell if the Cherokee should leave or stay in their territory. People might disagree with this because the Cherokee’s do not want to leave their homes and want to stay to fight. People think they should stay because it’s their land and it should not be taken away from them and how they should stay to fight for their territory.
In fact, people are still able to bond using technology, it can help people to keep in touch, and it can be used to help people cherish what is important to them. As long as humans do not abuse it, electronics can simply be used as a new way to interact with one another. Unlike the outcomes of “The Veldt” and “The Pedestrian”, technology does not have to consume or ruin lives. People should encourage one another to use the modern items at their disposal without uninformed cynics claiming that they are living life
