I also asked Mekeal if he has checked if he had any bruises on his leg where she kicked him at. Mekeal checked his legs and did not have any type of bruising which was visible. I asked Mekeal how Cutter Stevens being there wanting to fight him made him feel. Mekeal said it made him mad that Cutter Stevens wanted to fight him and came all the way from Texas to do that. I let Mekeal know to not text or call Jessica or try to reach her in any way. I advised him to save any text messages she sends to him. Also to not answer any phone numbers he does not recognize due to it possibly of it being her calling. I told him I know they have a class together in the morning. I told him if for some reason she shows up to the class to notify the professor and not make contact with her. If she starts to harass him in any way to contact the WSU PD and reference this case.
I gave Mekeal one of my business cards with the case number wrote on the back of it. I also asked for him to put the WSU PD phone number in his phone so he can call us if something happens again.
