Gregg Easterbrook, a fellow of the Brookings Institution and LA Times contributor, argues in his article, “Road Kill,” that deaths on the highway roads in America is a large and ignored problem. Easterbrook argues that the cause of the deaths can be linked to horsepower and cell phone usage. The author also writes the problem is ignored, because of moral differences and the feeling that the crashes can’t be prevented. Easterbrook also writes that the fatalities are not just limited to the drivers on the road. The author writes about the increased number of fatalities of pedestrians when crossing the streets, which further adds to the argument that the problem needs to be adressed and not ignored like it currently is (1-2).
Monster Truck Vs. Race Car Ever since October 21st 2015 there was a debate aroused with my lunch table about what car really is better the Race Car or the Monster Truck on the fun and addicting app that you can download on your phone called Hill Climb. Hill Climb is a game were you have a bunch of different cars and different areas you can play on, and the object of the game is to get as far as possible without running out of gas or flipping your car over and killing the driver. There are a lot of similarities with these two cars for instance they both have good gas mileage and are able to run longer which is want you want.
In nature, chickens form friendships and alphas, they recognize one another, love and care for their young, making nests, and so on and so forth. This is not available to chickens in Perdue farms. In many different chicken farms, chickens are force to live in unnatural conditions, such as crowded warehouses, standing and laying in their own feces, and not being able to stand for very long due to their very heavy weight. Chickens should be allowed lots of space and free roaming, they shouldn’t be living in their own diseased filled filth. Despite what these farms and companies say, that their chickens have space and are clean, Chickens are treated terribly and forced to live in unnatural conditions because the farms abuse these animals and people need to know so we can do something about it.

On May 21, 1934 Ted Rogers, became the first truck driver in America. Ever since that day trucking has become the biggest part of America and one of the most important jobs. to this day truck driver is one of the things that help keep America working together. It’s help feed the people and get the product to make home for the people that why I pick truck driving to be my senior project. Before a student pick a truck driving you must know the job that you will be doing for the rest of your life.
Driving today is a major accomplishment, and many people use that license as a badge of honor. In today's society, people as young as sixteen are eligible to apply for a driver's license. But, is that necessarily a horrid thing. There are many people who attempt to rob adolescents of their ability to receive a license. I believe that sixteen year olds should be able to keep their driving privileges because you must learn at a young age, it teaches adolescents responsibility, and it makes it easier for teens to maintain a career.
Should an individual have their license revoked for a year after receiving a DUI? I believe that their licence should be revoked for a year. No one should ever get behind the wheel after they have been driving! It is estimated that in the state of ohio, more than 10,265 are killed each year as a result of drinking and driving.
Cars are the most important products in the modern lifestyle. Whether it’s going to work, school, the mall, or even your friend’s house, it’s likely that you will be using a car to get there. I’m sure everyone here has a car, and I’m also sure everyone here will be buying another car in the future. Whether you want a car that can fit a large amount of people, or a sports car that can go extremely fast, an electric car will almost always be the best option for you.
Gasoline and diesel are fossil fuels and aren 't infinite. Battery electricity are better, they don’t pollute and don 't burn fossil fuels. Instead of having a gas tank and having to fill it up at a gas station, these cars have batteries in their place and can be recharged with a larger charging station and needs 220 volts. The recharged batteries stay charged until the car is driven. Some people say that battery powered cars are slower, but it isn’t by much and battery powered cars think is worth slowing down a little if it means saving the planet.

The rise of alternative fuel sources is to help this worldwide problem, as a result, electric cars have started to become a familiarity to everyday roads. Electric cars have many benefits and potentially does help with global warming, but it may not be as environmental-friendly as advertised.
