`The main reason why the movie Supersize Me was made was to prove that McDonald’s food has a huge impact on body weight. After two overweight girls in the age of 14 and 19 sue McDonald’s for gaining most of the weight because of dining McDonald’s. The film maker wanted to check if it’s possible that eating fast food could have a negative impact on the health condition. In the time of the court process there was no proof that McDonald’s caused that issue and the girls didn’t win the process because of lack of proof & arguments.

McDonald’s serves nearly 46 million meals per day, which is nearly the whole population of Spain. It is a worldwide company that has spent billions of dollars on advertising. Per the film, McDonald’s spends $1.4 billion on advertising when fruits and vegetables brands spend only 2 million dollars.

Its a cheap and quick option for people to get food daily. People of all ages eat McDonald’s. From parents buying happy meals for their children to older people that find it cheap and easy. The brand knows how to attract people, specially families. They have entertainments for kids like playgrounds. Morgan was the main character and the documentary is based on his experience. Morgan at the time of making the film was a middle age men and had a healthy lifestyle. He engaged a few other people like his partner Alexandra (who was a vegan and went through hard time during the experiment) to take part in documentary. He also asked for advice from three specialists: GP, cardiologist and gastrologist as well as a nutritionist and a personal trainer. His body was fully checked before he started his experiment. He used the additional people in the movie to show professional opinions and stay objective. It also shows that the whole experience had an impact on the lives of other
