Animal Testing The human race has long history of experimentation on animals, specifically in the cosmetic and medical professions. There are plenty of people who put up a fight saying that the human race would not be where it is today without animal experimentation. It can be argued that animal testing has been useful, after all the debate could be made that such a method is not always used. With the advancements in the medical and scientific field, animal experimentation is no longer a practical practice. Animal testing can be misleading and an animal's response to a drug could be different than a person's response. Items we use on a daily basis may be tested on several different animals such as rabbits, dogs, rats, guinea pigs, cats, and other animals. Animal testing is a cruel practice and should cease to exist.

In many different countries, laws have been passed to make the practice of animal testing more humane. Several debates have taken place, the debate from a animal lover fighting about her love for animals but also the huge medical advantage animal testing as provided. The majority of debates that have taken place have been about the rights for how they believe animal testing should be, many people thought to believe that animals are extremely different than humans, and therefore test results from animals can not be applied to people.On the other side, a few people think that testing on animals is needed to improve knowledge in the biological and medical fields.
