Bill Murray once said “I find it quite ironic that the most dangerous thing about weed is getting caught with it.” The reason this quote is here is because the meaning behind it is quite powerful. There are many people in this world that think marijuana legalization is not a good decision to make due to society's preconception that marijuana is bad (D'Alimonte). To begin with, inhaling hot smoke cause inflammatory within the respiratory which is a serious disorder that may become a disease. Not only that but According to hall, over the past 20 years smoking marijuana has shown a strong link between marijuana smokers and the development of cardiovascular diseases (D'Alimonte) It is a hazardous drug that ruins people's lives. Marijuana is not a hazardous drug that ruins people's life to add on, no one has ever died or overdosed from the use of marijuana in fact studies show that marijuana is a natural plant that helps many people and their medical conditions. To add on when people research medical marijuana and the bad side of it they can find many things on what they're looking for simply because the only bad thing about marijuana is getting caught with it.
