Over the years, several issues have solicited a plethora of controversy between the state's legislation and the federal legislation in the US. Medical marijuana in the state of Texas is one of the major issues whose legislation has raised many concerns across the US. Besides the legislation involving Texas as a State’s medical marijuana have always raised a lot of concern in the US because of their controversial nature. These legislations have not only affected the federal laws but also the laws of several states in the US. This legislation allows some patient meet the requirements to use the low –THT marijuana that encompasses 10% plus cannabidio (CBD) and less than tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). This legislation permits some regulated organizations referred to as the dispensing establishments to grow beside distributing the low-THC marijuana to a given group of patients. This law requires that the qualified doctors involved be part of the registry of the physician besides providing the record information which encompasses the recommended dosage, the administration ways plus amounting cannabis necessary to meet the patient’s prescriptions.
