If Marijuana Has So Many Benefits, What is the Big Deal?
Medical marijuana is a great debate across the United States of America. As Americans we want the best medicine available to treat us. Lots of people wonder why medical marijuana is not readily available to patients with debilitating diseases in every state. There is substantial evidence supporting medical marijuana. So that makes the mind wonder, why has the proof not been enough to make this drug an option to sick patients that could heavily benefit from it, no matter what state they live in? These sick people should get the treatment needed. What if it was your close family member, laying there suffering from pain and nausea? Would you try and make a difference in helping make this drug available to them? Marijuana has been scientifically proven to help with pain, increase appetite, and treat anxiety and depression. Some cases where the patient has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, it has been proven that cannabis oil will kill off cancer cells. The surveys above proved that isn’t true. Another downfall is when we think about marijuana, the first thing that comes to mind is, you smoke that how can that be good for you?
