"Fatality at the hands of the police brutality has become so prevalent in today's society that one could argue it has become a societal norm." Police brutality should not become the societies normal, if it has become that bad to even be considered the normal something drastically should be done to prevent that. In today's society, many unarmed African American boys and men are killed in the hands of the police. Many African American families are fearful of what could happen to the young boys and men in their family just for walking down the street or going into a store. Just last year alone more than 250 African Americans were killed in the hands of the police and many were unarmed. Something that the killings have in common is that the individuals were unarmed; killed because police believed that they were in possessions of a weapon. In most cases of police brutality, officers are let off with no consequences for their actions, many are not even persecuted they just receive a get out of jail free card and are told go back to work. Thing is most of the officers never have to work again and are able to retire because of the money they sometimes receive from white supremacist that was raised to be able to pay off their lawyer fees and go to a remote island and vacation to celebrate their "accomplishment" like they are a little kid being awarded for making an A on their
