Caycee Cunningham is a typical 8th grade student in Pleasant Grove, Utah. She grew dreadlocks as a part of, as she explains, her spiritual journey in her Hindu beliefs (Kelley, 2015). She says that it is representative of her turning over a new leave and chapter in her life. Her mother received a call one day from the principle of the middle school saying that her daughter’s hair is against the schools dress code. Her mother believes that it is a racial problem, because there are other students at the school of other races, with the same hair style.

Wilber’s statement is one I came to realize after becoming a summer camp counselor for girls ages seven to twelve. Only in my first few days as a counselor, my eyes were forced open to see the greatness inside each of my campers. For some children these gifts only need nurtured; others require assistance in uncovering their distinction. Here in lies my passion: to convince each child I meet of his or her infinite potential.
Students who want to become a successful athletic trainer must graduate from a bachelor’s degree at minimum and they may also need a master’s degree. To become an athletic trainer you must graduate with a degree in Athletic Training from an accredited athletic training program and successfully pass the Board of Certification Exam. Three colleges that I can attend that would allow me to obtain this degree would be Kean University, Montclair State University, and Seton Hall University.

The term inclusion is often seen as simply referring to learners with special needs, where it is interpreted as the ‘complete acceptance of a student with a disability in a regular classroom.’ However the notion can be viewed much more broadly. A common misconception about inclusion is that it is solely about including people with disability in regular sport activities without any modification. (Australian sports commission) However being inclusive is about providing a range of options to cater for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, in the most appropriate manner possible.
