Astrology has been studied since 2000 B.C. in the Babylonian Empire. Historians believe Babylonians adopted the concept from the Egyptians , but they developed these studies into a science and essentially became a part of their belief system (“History of Astrology”). Just as religion evolves between being accepted and highly offensive, astrology has become a belief. Zodiac signs were first are based off of constellations, seasons and one of the four elements: Air, Water, Fire and Earth. As Astrology developed, the signs are also arranged by birthday and planet by which they are ruled by. Each sign has its own meaning as shown by uniqueness of Scorpio and Taurus according to their personality, planets, and career interests. Taureans are born between April 20 and May 20 (“Zodiac Signs -Taurus”) . Taurus is categorized as an Earth sign making those who possess this sign real, dependable, generous, patient, and independent. For example, Earth in nature can be seen as real and dependable.
