Were Calendars Important?
Throughout many years calendars played a big role in the ancient civilization. The ancient people such as the Mayans, Gregorian's, etc used calendars to keep track of the time on earth. They also used calendars to keep track of the years and months. They used “ Celestial bodies” such as the sun, moon, and planets to provide a reference for measuring the passage of time. We know so little of the ancient people but we know for sure that the calendars played a big role in their learning and in ours too.

“The Mayan calendar does not predict that the world will end on December 21, 2012.” People would say that the world would end in 2012 because apparently, the Mayan calendar said, but it turns out the Calendar didn’t state anything. “Maya predicted an apocalypse on December 21, 2012.” This explains how the people today thought there would be an apocalypse just because that date was when the Mayans calendar ended.
It has been shown that these calendars have played a big role in history not only for the ancient people but for other cultures too because that’s how we would get our information or is how we get it. We know so little about these people but we sure know they played a role in our days, months, and years counting.
