I thought it appropriate to chose this topic as we are learning about astronomy for the next two weeks. I found some interesting information on this topic while doing my research. The discovery of Uranus was the first planet to be discovered in recorded history. His work ethics lead to this being recorded. William had the practice to immediately record all his observations then follow them up the next day. I thought it was really interesting is that he wasn’t even looking for the planet when he discovered it.
