Athletes Should Be Paid

Each week a soccer player makes about 160,000 dollars. Per season a football player makes 60,000 dollars. The average ballet dancer makes about 20,000 dollars. Now these salaries are just a guess that i’ve made, but regardless it’s still a lot of money. I do feel as if athletes and entertainers make a lot of money, especially for just a season, game, or week. Do I agree with their salarie? My answer would have to be yes, and the reason that being is because I think that performers and athletes have to work hard to get where they are today and i think that athletes are crazy amazing for being in the gym almost everyday training three hours a day, and there are so many steps and trials to becoming a football player, or soccer player. Not saying that there choice on picking ballet before college was smart. But the fact that they gave up that option show’s that they are willing to go for it and love what they do and know they will have to work harder than ever. It kind of goes for athletes to, if they break something then they most likely will not be able to play for a while or forever depending on the injury. But if that happens then they at least have a college education. Football players are required to have a degree. But if I do say no it would be to athletes, some athletes may or may not start when there older, and I feel likes that’s only half of their life, but with dancers they have to give it all, like Im talking most of their life. I watched a documentary on katy perry’s life, not the biggest fan but thought i would like to know what it’s like for a singer to be under all of that pressure and what it’s like to go from show to show and missing family and friends and going on world tour for a year. Well let me say, it’s crazy and it’s amazing that someone can actually last through all of that. And katy perry never got noticed by anyone for five years.
