Auschwitz was the largest Nazi run Death camp. This camp was no ordinary Concentration camp; it could have changed the fate of the war. Auschwitz was the largest concentration camp and at its highest occupancy rate was at one point holding up to 1.1 million prisoners. Auschwitz was different from all the other concentration camps not only because of its huge size but also because, it dealt with its prisoners. Auschwitz had a phenomenal affect in WWII it was opend in 1940 and would force 60,000 people to die each month. Auschwitz was not only a concentration camp but also a military base. Auschwitz would hang, burn, poison, and cremate most of its internal population. In Auschwitz they would do extremely grotesque things to all its prisoners
