As people, we use persuasion techniques in our lives everyday, even though we may not realize it. There are many different ways and types of persuasion, authors also use them to write stories, and people use them in their everyday lives. There are pathos, logos, and ethos. Also repetition and alliteration could be used, and they are very effective when used in the right sense. Persuasion techniques are useful in many different ways.
Author’s persuasion techniques are useful to help improve their story and opinion. In the text The Declaration of Independence, the phrase “he has” was repeated several times (Jefferson 104-105). This is used to persuade people to go against the King.When the author did this, he used pathos and logos as persuasion techniques. The author repeated this phrase to get the clear point across that he was not happy with the King. In the text A Soldier For The Crown, the author uses persuasion technique to show how much the person in the story cares.
