The Aztecs were an ancient civilization found in the area of Mesoamerica, their time period was from 1350 to 1519. Now in the modern-days of Mexico City. There capital city was Tenochtitlan. Two aspects of their culture that they are known for are agriculture and human sacrifice. However, historians should emphasize human sacrifice.

How was the Aztecs lifestyle altered because of the Spanish? The Spanish Conquest in Mexico over the Aztecs in the year 1521 resulted in the victory of the Spanish. This was a huge time of change in the Aztecs’ lifestyle. In this time, changes in nearly every aspect of the Aztecs’ life occured.
They were originally nomads that came from regions of Northern Mexico or the Southwestern United States. They say from a mythical island called Aztlan, “The Place of Herons.” Because of great drought, the Mexica and other tribes that were located in the southwestern United States and in northern Mexico, known as the Chichimeca, were forced to migrate. Moving south, they settled in the Central of Mexico. At first, the Aztecs were mercenaries for others but as their reputations grew, the fierce warriors came to surface.
Everything was perfectly planned out. As the calendar says, they have to sacrifice one of their own to please the Gods. The Mayan people would get together as a whole to practice their religious ceremony at the temple. The Mayan and Aztec civilizations are two ancient civilizations that were located near Central and South America. The Mayan civilization was more remarkable than the Aztecs because of their advanced knowledge.
Because of their farming methods, the Aztecs were a very wealthy city with a growing population. As we know, the Aztec claimed their capital city, but we don’t know where they came from. We do believe that they came from a group of nomadic hunter-gatherers from northern Mexico. Legends say that their original homeland was called Aztlan.
During the fifteenth century, one economic continuity in the Americas was the continued establishment of trade and markets throughout the area. In the Aztec empire, specifically during the fifteenth century, production of craft goods increased, which resulted in the rise of trade in the "American web". All types of trade continued to be victorious with food, ornaments, precious stones, and other popular goods moving throughout the region. Pochteca, professional merchants, were originally seen as commoners, but that seemed to change with time. Due to the flourish of trade, the professional merchants wealth in many cases exceeded that of nobles.
The triumph of the Aztec and Incan domains were for the most part basic battles. A few reasons in the matter of why it was so regular were because these areas were isolated, they don't know anything of the new world and distinctive social orders, they assumed that the Europeans points were of no congruity to them and stigmatized them. Another reason was advancement. Advancement was a gigantic part in the triumph of these areas Indian war systems were old and out dated. They were no match for the Spanish and their firearms, crossbows, swords, covering, shields, and the hand held dark powder weapon.
The Aztec Empire lasted from the year 1345 to the year 1521. During these years, the Aztec Empire was able to flourish all throughout central Mexico. Their capital was established on Teotihuacan, on top of a lake. The Aztec Empire alone was 117,501 miles squared long. The citizens of the Aztec Empire were feared all over Mexico.
Important deities for the Aztecs were Tlaloc the god of rain, Huitzilopochtli the patron of the Mexican tribe, Quetzalcoatl the culture hero and the god of civilization and order, and Tezcatlipoca the god of destiny and fortune, connected with war and sorcery. They each had their own temple within the Aztec capital. Their religion was controlled by the Tlatoani and the high priests governing the main temples in the ceremonial precinct of the Aztec capital. On the feast of Huey Tozoztli, the ruler himself ascended Mount Tlaloc and engaged in auto sacrifice in order to petition the rains.
Aztec Empire The Aztecs were a great Empire that lasted approximately 200 years. They entered the Valley of Mexico from North and founded their capital in the center of a lake. Their capital was called Tenochtitlan, and it was founded in 1325. In 1428 a Triple Alliance was formed with other two cities, Texcoco and Tlacopan, consolidating what we now call, the Great Aztec Empire.
During the Aztec and Incan Empire period they did not have the technology we had. They did not have the tractors to farm the fields, the fancy working tools like drills and saws, or even fancy plates or silverware we have today. This Aztec and Incan people had the greatest mentality to come up with thse great inventions to survive that we still use to this day but more modern. These Aztec and Incan people had a very awkaward but advanced way of living. There houses were not the most fanciest place to live in but a lot of them poor houses had this one object and it was found everywhere in the structure of the house in the kitchen and even in the art side of the house.
The fall of the Aztec Empire was due to the determination of the Spaniards. The Spaniards were destructive. They did not respect the Natives’ religions at all. They almost destroyed all of the Natives’ culture, and now we know very little about Natives. The Spaniards’ greed and obsession with power, this was their main motivation to conquer the Aztec Empire.
In many parts of the world, there are different myths about how the world was made or how the first humans came to be in the world. It was believed that greater beings of higher existences were the ones who made the world and humans. How were some myths different and similar to each other in a certain shape or form? First, in the Aztec mythology, before the earth was made, the earth mother god Coatlicue made the moon and the stars.
By 1500’s Aztecs ruled an empire of 6 to 12 million people. The Aztec empire stretched from the Gulf to the Pacific ocean, from the Valley to modern Guatemala. The Aztecs demanded tribute from the people of conquered lands. Leaders: (Include Name, Time
