"It's harder to beat a person that never gives up", said the famous Babe Ruth. Babe Ruth was a very amazing man off and on the baseball field. While he was on the field, he would hit home runs and big hits. While he was off the field, he would donate money to people in need and also sign little kids hats and other accessories. Because of his skill he played for the Baltimore Oriels Minor League team, this was the start of his professional career. Babe Ruth's professional life is the main thing that shaped who he was as a man. As many people know, Ruth was a star at the plate. He was always hitting home runs and was one of the best ever at it, but when he started to play for his first MLB team the Boston Red Sox, he was the starting left-handed pitcher. During his debut for the Red Sox, he won the game with his skills on July 11. After being traded to the New York Yankees he turned into a Phenomenon, but this time he was an outfielder and an all time hitter. In the 1921 season he hit a staggering 59 home runs, which is one of the biggest amount of home runs in one season ever. Babe Ruth has set many records and has done amazing things. He has had 2873 hits and 714 home runs.
