Consequently, tragedies such as Columbine School Shooting to the terrorist attack on 9/11 has dramatically impacted how the Millennial generation view the unfortunate reality that the world “Can be a scary place” (Johnson and Johnson, 2010, p. 111). Not surprisingly, the Millennial generation is considered the most technological advanced generation, significantly since the generation was raised during America’s thriving technological evolution. According to Johnson and Johnson (2010), 97% of Generation Y own a computer and 94% own a cell phone” (p. 113).
